Which areas can I get involved?
Before, during and after the event we need a lot of volunteers, e.g. in the area of:
- Assembly and disassembly
- Passage controls
- Gastronomy (grill, drinks, dish washing, service ...)
- Cash desk
- Merchandising
- Cleaning
- Side Events (Schnellster Montforter, Mösle-Staffel Challenge, Kids' Athletics Cup, face painting)
How much time do I have to invest?
This is very flexible. You can sign up for half a day or one or 3 full days
- depending on where you want to help.
Can I wear my 2024 T-shirt again?
Our partner Erima has launched a new collection! That's why all volunteers will receive new T-shirts and jackets this year. Please use clothing from 2024 and earlier for private use only. 😊
I am traveling from abroad. Is there any financial support for travel and accommodation?
Travel and accommodation costs must be covered by the participants themselves.
Do I get some goodies?
For your support you'll get:
- free entrance on both days of the competition
- Goodie Bag
- meals and drinks during your assignment
- a Hypomeeting T-Shirt
- entrance ticket for your partner
- invitations for our volunteers-party and other events
Do I need previous knowledge or training?
For most tasks there is none special previous experience required. You will on site by your respective group leader appropriately instructed before use.
Do I work alone or in a team?
That varies. Some tasks are completed as a team, while others
be carried out independently. This is communicated in advance when tasks are assigned.
Will my accreditation give me access to the stadium for the entire weekend?
Yes, the accreditation is valid on Saturday and Sunday.
Will I receive meals during my assignment?
Yes, you will receive free meals and drinks in the "Kubus"
on the day of your assignment.
When and where do I get my accreditation?
Information on how to pick up your accreditation and goodie bag will be announced in the middle of May.
Are volunteers also wanted for year-round assignments?
Yes, we are looking forward to your support, especially in graphics/design and website support.
Is there a way to store personal items safely?
Due to the limited space available, there is no separate storage space. Please only bring what you need.
What should I do if I am unable to fulfill my assignment?
If you are unable to attend at short notice, please inform the volunteer coordinator as early as possible so that we can find a solution.
What events will take place during the Hypomeeting week?
During the Hypomeeting week many events take place - we are looking forward to your visit!

Are there rules for dealing with athletes?
Please always treat everyone with respect and professionalism. Please note that they should concentrate on their competition and not be disturbed. Autograph or selfie requests are only permitted at appropriate moments and with consideration for their time.
Can I also join as a volunteer if I have a full-time job?
Yes, many volunteer assignments are flexible and can be easily combined with a job agree. There are shifts on weekends or evenings.
Where do I meet with my team?
We will inform you by email in mid-May about the time and location where your team will meet.
